Lady Owls Earn Host Bid to NAIA National Championships

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Oregon Tech women's cross country season will continue for another week, as the Lady Owls were selected with the Cascade Conference's host berth to the NAIA National Championships, Nov. 17, in Vancouver, Wash.

It marks the ninth time in the last 10 seasons that the Lady Owls will compete as a team at Nationals – including the 2018 season in which the squad won the national title.

Tech finished a close fifth at Friday's CCC Championships – the highest ranked team in the conference to not receive an automatic or at-large bid. College of Idaho claimed the automatic berth by virtue of winning the CCC title, while Southern Oregon, Lewis-Clark State and Eastern Oregon all earning at-large bids.

The CCC hosts the event for the eighth time at Fort Vancouver National Historic Site and the first time since the 2021 season.
