COMING UP: at Walla Walla Invitational (Wine Valley GC – Walla Walla, Wash.), Monday-Tuesday.
LAST SEASON: The Hustlin' Owls recorded three third-place finishes during the 2024-25 campaign, ending with a fifth-place finish at the Cascade Conference Championships. The club will have to replace their No. 3 scorer, as
Tyler Vassar graduated and No. 6 scorer,
Tyce Helmick, who transferred to Division III Oswego State. The Lady Owls had a banner year, winning three tournaments, finishing second in five others – ending the year ranked No. 18. The squad took second at the CCC Championships and qualified for the NAIA Championships for the fifth time, finishing 17th after two rounds and missed the cut. Record-setting CCC Player of the Year and NAIA All-American,
Quincy Beyrouty, is now a part of the OIT coaching staff.
MEN'S PREVIEW: The Hustlin' Owls enter the new season picked fourth in the CCC preseason poll – returning four of their top-five scorers from last season. Senior
Jack Tieman led Tech with a 76.0 stroke average and is coming off a First Flight title at the Southern Oregon Match-Play Championships. Sophomore
Silas Guzlas (76.4), senior
Issey Tanimura (76.4) and junior
Kade Bracken (78.7) provide depth and experience. OIT will add a dynamic freshman recruiting class – including three players (
Cayson VanBeekum,
Bronx Campbell,

Grayson Moore). VanBeekum was named the Utah Junior PGA Player of the Year, while winning the championship final at the Southern Oregon Match-Play Championships, with Moore finishing second at the Rogue Valley Stroke Play Championships.
WOMEN'S PREVIEW: Despite losing their No. 1 player to graduation, the Lady Owls return three All-CCC selections. Twin sister sophomores,

Sydney Dick (79.6), earned all-league honors last season, while junior
Madie Hepner (78.7) grabbed honors back in 2024. Seniors

Kali Rowe from Washington and
Alyssa Kauleinamoku from Hawaii. Tech opens the new season ranked No. 21 in the NAIA.
SEASON SCHEDULE: OIT opens their schedule at the Walla Walla Invitational, the first of three CCC regular-season events (teams will also compete at College of Idaho and Warner Pacific), prior to the CCC Championships, hosted by Lewis-Clark State. Tech will host their annual home event (Run-In at the Ranch) at Running Y Resort on Sept. 29-30, while completing their fall schedule at the LC State Fall Invite and the Arizona Christian Firestorm Invite.
