CORVALLIS, Ore. - Oregon Tech defender Reece Fletcher was honored as McDonald's Cascade Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, presented by Urban Edge Network.

The senior was instrumental in the Owls sweep of Northwest and Evergreen, running the squad's unbeaten streak to begin the season to seven.

Fletcher and his teammates allowed just nine total shots in the two victories, while adding the Owls first goals in both contests.

OIT hits the road Friday, traveling to rival Southern Oregon for a 2:30 p.m. match-up.
