KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – For the first time since 2013, Oregon Tech will host the Cascade Conference Multi-Event Championships, with the two-day event kicking off Thursday at Moehl Stadium.
A total of 12 student-athletes from seven schools will compete in the men's decathlon, beginning Thursday at 10 a.m. with the 100-meters, while 10 student-athletes from seven schools competing in the women's heptathlon, beginning with the 100-meter hurdles at 10:30 a.m. A 30-minute window will separate each competed event over the two days.
Hustlin' Owls standout,
Eli Stevens, enters the meet with the No. 2 decathlon mark in the NAIA, with Eastern Oregon's Justin Krabbenhoft 51 points behind the junior in fourth-place. Freshman
Bryson Teal will also compete for Tech.
The heptathlon will be a battle between NAIA leader Adrienne Washington of Eastern Oregon and indoor pentathlon national champ, Abi Stevens, of Southern Oregon.
Madi Perkins of OIT is also entered in the event.

Following the CCC meet, OIT will also host the Oregon Tech Invitational – beginning Friday afternoon with the javelin, with the remainder of the meet taking place Saturday.
Eight teams have entered competitors in the meet, with field events expected to begin at 10 a.m. and running events set to start at 12 p.m.

Last year, the Owls hosted two meets on the newly refurbished Moehl Stadium track – with athletes breaking 12 men's and 11 women's facility records.
