Lady Owls Blank Multnomah, Extend Win Streak to Five

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Three first half goals highlighted a dominant performance by the Lady Owls, as Oregon Tech ran their win streak to five with a 3-0 victory over Multnomah.

OIT (6-1-1, 2-0 CCC) scored multiple first half goals for the fifth-straight match, with the club surpassing the 2023 scoring total on the first strike of the day. The Lady Owls finished the day with a 20-2 edge in shots, with the defense recording their third-straight clean sheet.

Tech jumped ahead in the fourth minute, as Kiana Jacobson played a thru-ball down the left side to a streaking Brianna Lewis – who crossed a pass across the 6-yard-box, where Kayla Ness touching home the goal.

Midway through the period, the Owls used a similar combination to extend the lead. Sydney Soskis played an angled cross down the right side to Miranda Valle, who hit a low pass through traffic to Jacobson, finishing at the back post – scoring a goal for a fifth-straight game.

Just before the break, the hosts added an insurance tally, as a give-and-go pass from Caitlyn Price to Raeah Raymondo netted Price her fourth goal of the year.

The Tech defense clamped down – as the Lions (3-3-2, 1-1) did not attempt a second half shot, giving Sydni Nakamura her third shutout of the year.

OIT hits the road next weekend for matches at Corban and Bushnell.
