Lady Owls Open CCC Play With 6-0 Win Over Warner Pacific

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Raeah Raymondo scored a pair of goals, part of a six-goal outburst by the Lady Owls, as Oregon Tech opened up Cascade Conference play with a 6-0 victory over Warner Pacific.

OIT (5-1-1, 1-0 CCC) ran their win streak to four with their highest-scoring game since 2020, using a 26-2 edge in shots to top the Knights.

Tech hit a pair of cross bars in the opening 18 minutes, before Kaylie Hashizaki struck a 35-yard shot into the top corner of the net off a pass from Kiana Jacobson, giving the hosts a lead.

Caneel Corpuz doubled the lead in the 28th minute, driving home a counter off a pass from Brianna Lewis.

Just before the break, the Owls scored twice – as Jissel Valencia slotted home a short cross inside the 6-yard-box from Sydney Soskis, with Raymondo making a run off a Caitlyn Price through-ball, finishing to the right corner for the 4-0 lead.

Raymondo pushed the margin to 5-0 in the 66th minute off a feed from Lewis, before Jacobson scored off a give-and-go from Tiffany Humphreys to cap the scoring.

Keeper Sydni Nakamura made one save – a 1-on-1 chance with the Knights (2-3-1, 0-1) Kiya Gramps  - teaming with Paige Everson for the clean sheet.

Tech closes out the weekend tomorrow at 12 p.m., hosting Multnomah.
