CORVALLIS, Ore. - Oregon Tech had 56 student-athletes represented among the 523 Cascade Conference recipients of the U.S. Bank Academic All-Conference award for their performances in the classroom, announced by the conference office.
 
Student-athletes from the spring sports of men's and women's golf, men's and women's track and field, baseball, softball and women's beach volleyball earned the distinction. To earn recognition as an All-CCC Academic honoree, a student-athlete must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2, be at least sophomore in academic standing and complete one full term at OIT.
 
The Hustlin' Owls baseball team led the way with 16 recipients, while the men's track team 11 honorees and the softball team had 10.
