GLENDALE, Ariz. - A thunderstorm stopped the Oregon Tech-Arizona Christian women's soccer match-up in the eighth minute and following a one-hour delay, the match was abandoned and deemed a no-contest.

ACU had a pair of shots in the early moments stopped by Tech keeper Sydni Nakamura, but lightning in the area halted play at the with just over 37 minutes remaining in the first half. The storm did not let up the rest of the evening, forcing the cancelation. 

The match will not be made up.

Tech returns to the Basin today, prepping for a Wednesday home match vs. Simpson University.
