TOURNEY INFORMATION: For the second-straight year, the 8-team event will be held in Medford at the Lithia & Driveway Fields Complex. OPPONENT PREVIEW – EASTERN OREGON: For the third-straight season, the Lady Owls will meet Eastern Oregon at the CCC Championships, facing a Mountaineers (13-4-1) side that set a school record for regular-season wins. EOU takes a 5-match win streak into the postseason – including four 1-goal wins – with the team averaging 2.1 goals a match. A balanced offensive attack is led by Peyton Jacaway (7 goals, 2 assists), Siena Salazar (5 goals, 2 assists), Ava Henkemeyer (4 goals, 2 assists), Gracie Rainsberry (4 goals, 2 assists) and Macy Reed (2 goals, 5 assists), while keeper Rylee Schei (1.10 GAA, .696 save percentage) is a talented shot-stopper.

FIRST MEETING: The two teams met in La Grande last month, with Eastern rallying for a 2-1 victory. Tech scored first on a Alejandra Salcedo put back of a blocked shot inside the box, but the Mounties answered off a set piece as Macy Reed headed in a corner. Though EOU had a 12-6 edge in shots, it was a wind-blown cross from the right side from Peyton Jacaway that was pushed into the left corner of the net in the 68th minute that proved to be the difference.

HISTORY VS. EOU: OIT and EOU have met 29 previous times, with the Mountaineers holding a slim 12-11-6 series edge. The squads have played three times in the postseason – including two draws and last season's 1-0 victory by the Lady Owls in the CCC semifinals. Eastern advanced twice in penalty shootouts – once in the 2023 quarterfinals after a 2-2 score through 110 minutes, and again in the second-round of the 2020 NAIA Championships after a scoreless first 110 minutes.

A LOOK AT THE BRACKET: Quality match-ups dot the 8-team bracket – as regular-season champ, College of Idaho (who earned the CCC's first automatic bid to Nationals) will meet Carroll – as the Saints keeper Malin Ackerman (0.96 GAA) must contend with the top two playmakers in the league – Abbi Roubidoux (14 goals, 6 assists) and Gianna Yslava (8 goals, 15 assists). Second-seed Southern Oregon faces Northwest, who played the Raiders to a 1-1 draw in September – as the Eagles keeper Katie Snow (0.85) faces the SOU attack, led by Abby McKean (12 goals). The No. 4-5 match-up has Rocky Mountain and Bushnell playing for the second time in a week, as RMC topped the Beacons, 4-3, behind the CCC's top-scorer, Emma Lensing (17 goals). Following quarterfinal play, the tournament will be reseeded, with the highest seed facing the lowest seed in the semifinals.

TECH RETURNS TO THE POSTSEASON:  With their win on Oct. 25 vs. Corban, the Lady Owls clinched their ninth-straight postseason bid and punched their ticket to the playoffs for the 15th time. OIT won the CCC Tournament title in 2021, while advancing to the tournament title game three times (2006, 2007, 2024). Overall, Tech is a combined 7-10-3 in CCC Tournament play and 12-14-4 all-time in the postseason.

WINNING SEASONS: The victory over Corban guaranteed the Lady Owls their ninth-straight season with a .500-or-better and the 16th winning season in 26 years of women's soccer at OIT. With Sunday's win at Warner Pacific, OIT reached the 10-win mark for the 13th time in program history.

NO SHOTS ALLOWED: For just the second time in program history, the Lady Owls did not allow a shot attempt in a match – holding Walla Walla without a chance in Friday's 4-0 win. Prior to the contest, Tech had achieved the mark just once – in a 3-0 win over Warner Pacific on March 8, 2021.

COWAN LEADS ATTACK: True freshman Claire Cowan continued a breakout season on the long road trip, pushing her team-leading goal total to five. Cowan posting a goal and an assist in the win at Walla Walla, while scoring Tech's first goal in the win at Warner Pacific.

MORE FROM THE OFFENSE: OIT has combined for 11 goals in the past three matches, getting contributions on the latest road trip from multiple players. At Walla Walla, the Owls got goals from Raeah Raymondo, Jaylee Curran and Kaelin Ness – the fourth goal of the year for Raymondo, the third for Ness and the second for Curran. Two days later, Ryane Mattox and Sydney Soskis each posted a goal and an assist, Maegan Cooper scored her second goal of the year, while Curran recorded her team-leading seventh assist of 2025.

TECH FINISHES UNBEATEN AT HOME: The Lady Owls finished 7-0-2 on their own field this season – extending an unbeaten streak in the Basin to 12 matches, dating back to last October. It marks the second-longest home unbeaten streak, as from 2017-22, OIT rattled off 37 matches without a home loss. Playing at home has been key for Tech as during the 26 seasons of women's soccer at OIT, the Lady Owls are 120-60-20 in matches played in Klamath Falls. Since the school installed turf at the on-campus venue in 2017, Tech has been nearly unbeatable, recording a 51-6-9 mark.
