PRESCOTT, Ariz. – Oregon Tech capped their non-conference schedule with a dynamic performance, hitting 59-percent of their field goals in a convincing 90-68 road victory at Embry-Riddle inside the Eagle Athletic Center.
 
The Hustlin' Owls (5-1) earned their third-straight road win and head into Cascade Conference play with the best record among the 12 teams in the league.
 
"We did what we needed to do," said OIT head coach Justin Parnell. "We got running in transition in the second half and was the difference. We swept the road trip, which was our goal – but now things get intense with Eastern Oregon and College of Idaho heading to Klamath."
 
The Eagles (1-3) hung around early, as Conner Ivy canned a trio of triples, giving ERAU a 22-18 lead. Tech responded over the next seven minutes, holding the hosts to just one made field goal – with a 15-4 run giving the Owls the lead for good. Keegan Shivers and Jay Elmore hit 3-pointers, Yanni Fassilis added a pair of lay-ups, with both Jamison Guerra and Erik Fraser scoring in transition as part of the flurry.
 
Tech broke the game open midway through the second half, as a pair of Shivers 3-pointers were sandwiched around a Fraser 3-point play, extending the margin to 69-50.
 
OIT ended the night a season-high 9-of-17 from 3-ponit range, with the Owls forcing 20 turnovers, turning the miscues into 24 points.
 
Shivers led all scorers with a season-high 23 points, making 6-of-9 3-point chances. Blake Jensen posted 15 points, Fraser scored 12 – making all five field goal attempts. Kody Bauman scored nine off the bench, with Jamison Guerra adding eight points and seven assists.
 
Ivy led the Eagles with 20 points and Dennis Pomazanov scoring 15.
 
Tech returns to action on Dec. 1 – opening CCC play on Military Appreciation Night against Eastern Oregon at 7:30 p.m.
