No.1 Oregon Tech Splits with Carroll

HELENA, Montana– No. 1 Oregon Tech (22-4) stayed perfect improving to 9-0 in Cascade Conference play with a game one 7-0 win over Carroll College (3-15); the Fighting Saints however took game two, a non-conference game, 5-2 snapping Oregon Tech's 20 game win streak.

"We played good in game one today but unfortunately did not hit like we can in game two," said head coach Greg Stewart. "Carroll's pitcher did a nice job from start to finish and they got some clutch hits late in the game."

Game One Oregon Tech 7 Carroll 0

Sarah Abramson improved to 12-2 on the year with a four-hit shutout in game one. Abramson had five strikeouts as she now has 100 strikeouts on the year.

Tech was led at the plate by Kaila Mick who had two-hits including her second home run in as many days, with Kennedy Jantzi also adding a pair of hits in the win. Tech's Lexi Klum homered in the fourth, her second of the year.

Game Two Carroll 5 Oregon Tech 2
