Prior to Oregon Tech 

Jantzi played in the 2020 COVID-19 shortened season for former Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) member Concordia (Ore.) after two seasons at Mt. Hood Community College out of the Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC). 
 
Coach Stewart: "Oregon Tech Softball is very fortunate to sign a player of Kennedy's ability.  She is a power hitting corner infielder who has already posted incredible numbers in both her high school and college career.  We look forward to Kennedy continuing her tremendous offensive output and feel she will be a great fit in our program.  Kennedy has the talent and experience to make an immediate impact in the middle of our lineup next year."
 
Jantzi had a successful career at West Albany.  In her junior year, she was named first team all-league and in her senior year she was first team all-league, conference player of the year, and voted third team all-state.
 
At Mt. Hood in her sophomore year, Kennedy had an incredible season batting .525 with 26 HR's, 12 doubles, scored 57 runs, and led the NWAC with 93 RBI's.  She tallied 74 hits in 42 games and posted a staggering 1.191 slugging %. She was a first team all-conference recipient and named to the 2019 NWAC NFCA All-American team.
 
While at Concordia this past season, Jantzi was hitting .373 and leading the Cavaliers offensively in three categories: HR's (8) RBI's (22) and slugging % (.831) in just 19 games that she started.
 
Kennedy will pursue a business major at Oregon Tech and is the daughter of Rod and Gina Jantzi.
