KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - No. 1 Oregon Tech (15-3) hit four home runs, scored 19-runs on 23-hits and had strong pitching to win their twelfth and thirteenth straight games as they finished a four-game series sweep 11-3 and 8-2 of Northwest University Saturday at John and Lois Stilwell Stadium. Â

Tech improved to 3-0 in Cascade Conference play with a game one 11-3 win over Northwest University (2-6, 0-3 CCC) The Owls got home runs from
Mckenzie Staub (2) and
Jayce Seavert (4) and strong pitching from
Sarah Abramson who pitched a complete game to improve to 8-2 on the season, having seven strikeouts in five innings.

Seavert (#1 Pictured) gave Tech a 1-0 lead with her team-leading fourth homer of the season in the second inning. NU took the lead in the fourth breaking up a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring on back-to-back singles.

The Owls then opened the game up with four runs in the fourth highlighted by an
Aubrie Businger lead-off double, a two-run double by
Lexi Klum, and an RBI triple by
McKenna Armantrout.

Tech won the game in the fifth by mercy rule as they scored six runs on six hits led by a
Mckenzie Staub home run her 2nd of the season to win 11-3.

Armantrout had three-hits to lead the OIT offense with
Maggie Buckholz, Staub, Businger, and Becker adding two-hits each.

Staub remained perfect in the circle for the Owls, improving to 6-0 on the year, pitching the first 4-innings allowing five hits and one run,
Kacie Schmidt the final two innings for the Owls.

After NU took a 1-0 lead in the first on an Emily Barry RBI double, the Owls exploded for a 4-1 lead on a two-run homer from Businger, her second on the season.

Jensen Becker gave the Owls a 7-1 lead on a three-run bomb in the 3
rd inning, her first homer of the season.

Tech added a run in the 4
th to go up 8-1 with the Eagles adding a run on a solo homer off the bat of Nicole Fish in the 6
th.
Â
The Owls head to Portland, Oregon next weekend for conference play at Warner Pacific with Northwest heading home to host Carroll College next weekend.
