COLLEGE PLACE, WASH. — The Oregon Tech Lady Owls (19-9, 12-9) used a huge fourth quarter to hold off the Walla Walla Wolves (2-26, 1-20) for a 76-66 victory. The Lady Owls used a balanced offensive attack to shoot 70% down the stretch to get themselves back into the win column.
Following the victory, HC Scott Meredith said: "Walla Walla was as tough as we thought they played a heck of a ballgame. We made adjustments defensively and our players made it work. Tied at half, we knew we needed a fast start in the 3rd quarter. We shot exceptionally well in the 4th and needed every basket to secure the win. "
