KLAMATH FALLS, OR. — The Oregon Tech Lady Owls (18-9, 11-9) got huge performances from their veterans on senior day but came up just short in an overtime loss to Warner-Pacific (13-12, 11-9) on Saturday afternoon. The loss for Tech opens the race for 5th place back up, as the seeding for the upcoming conference tournament will be determined after next weekend.
Following the defeat, HC Scott Meredith said: "It was another great matchup between Oregon Tech and Warner, close, hard fought and truly went down to the wire. We had trouble staying in front of their guards and our help was late throughout the night. However, the competitiveness we showed gives me reason to be optimistic going into the final week of conference play."

With the chance to send the seniors off with a bang, Tech failed to capitalize on several chances to close out the Knights.
In a high-scoring affair, Tech shot 65% in the first, 83% in the second, and 55% in the 4th, but defensively couldn't get enough stops.
A huge reason Tech had such high splits was due to Kristin Farrell lighting the nets on fire from three.
Farrell shot 8-of-11 from downtown, the best performance of her career, and a program-high.
Fouls were a controversial point of Saturday's meeting, as Warner went to the line 28 times (nearly three times as many as the Lady Owls), bailing them out of a lot of missed shots.
The Lady Knights hung around all game and eventually stole the game late out of the hands of Tech.
With zeroes on the clock in overtime, Shelby Blodgett had a chance to force double OT, but her second free-throw rolled around and out.
Despite the miss, Blodgett had a standout game, complementing her senior teammates with a 20 point, 13 rebounds, and seven assist performance.
However, despite the loss, the highlight of the day came from Abby Kreiser, who eclipsed 1,000 career points for Tech on her senior day
Tech had four players in double figures on Saturday night:
Kristin Farrell: 25 points on 8-of-12 shooting
Shelby Blodgett: 20 points on 8-of-16 shooting with 13 rebounds and seven assists
Maddyson Tull: 14 points on 7-of-7 shooting with four rebounds
Abby Kreiser: 13 points on 5-of-8 shooting with nine assists
Warner-Pacific was led by Hannah Myers, who scored 24 points on 8-of-15 shooting.
The Knights also got a 23-point performance out of Lynden Harry, who scored 23 points on 9-of-20 shooting.
The Hustlin' Owls will return to action next weekend when they travel to face Walla Walla(2-24, 1-18) and #21 Lewis-Clark State (23-3, 17-3).
