Looking to bounce back off of a loss at the buzzer to Multnomah, Tech battened down the hatches, playing resolute defense en route to a victory on Senior Day.

In the first half, Tech rode the hot hand of Keegan Shivers, who shot 3-of-4 from three. Shivers totaled 13 points to lead all scorers in the first half, as Tech jumped out to a 43-29 lead.

At the break, Tech was shooting 57% from the floor while limiting the Knights to just 42% shooting.

In the second half, Tech took off, utilizing their entire bench, and slamming the door on Warner-Pacific.

All five seniors got on the score sheet, including Lachlan McKimm, who scored five points in six minutes.

The Hustlin' Owls went on to outscore the Knights 48-35 down the stretch to pick up their 20th victory of the season.

Tech had four players in double figures on Saturday night:

Keegan Shivers: 16 points (game-high) on 6-of-8 shooting with five rebounds

Harrison Steiger: 15 points on 6-of-8 shooting

Kellen Gerig: 12 points on 5-of-9 shooting with five rebounds

Kaison Faust: 12 points on 6-of-8 shooting with seven rebounds and four assists

Senior Garret Albrecht also had a good game, scoring six points and grabbing five rebounds.

Warner-Pacific was led by Tyrese Yussuf-Willis, who scored 12 points on 4-of-6 shooting.

The Hustlin' Owls will return to action next weekend when they travel up north to face Walla Walla (3-23, 2-17) and Lewis-Clark State (19-9, 12-8).
