LEWISTON, Idaho – Late set runs by Lewis-Clark State helped the host Warriors earn a 25-18, 25-20, 25-15 victory over Oregon Tech inside the P1FCU Activity Center.
Nicole Reyes led the Lady Owls (10-9, 7-6 CCC) with 13 kills and
Kaylin Talonen added 11 – but the host Warriors used seven aces and 10 total blocks to complete a season sweep.
Tech was within 20-18 in Set 1 and were tied at 17-17 in Set 2, but two Grecia Ung Enriquez had two key kills in a 4-0 run in the opening frame, while adding two aces in a 6-0 surge in the middle set to aid the Warriors (12-6, 8-5). A Talonen kill in Set 3 pulled the Owls within 14-12, but LCSC closed the match on an 11-3 run, including four Lissa Longi kills.
Ashley Ripplinger had six kills and three blocks,
Courtney Isom posted 29 assists and seven digs, with
Paige Tevelde adding 11 digs for the Owls. Langi led LC with 11 kills, Ung Enriquez had nine kills and four aces, with Jada Wyms adding six kills and six blocks for the victors.
OIT returns home for three matches – Friday vs. Evergreen, Saturday vs. Northwest and a week from Tuesday vs. Southern Oregon.
