GREAT FALLS, Mon. – Oregon Tech hit seven home runs, scored 31-runs and improved to 12-0 on the season and 2-0 in Cascade Conference play with a 23-2 game 1 win and an 8-2 win game two to sweep the University of Providence Friday afternoon.
"The ladies really hit the ball well today," said head coach
Greg Stewart. "Another outing with good pitching, catching, and defense. I am super proud of the focus from this team."
Game one: Oregon Tech 23 Providence 2 (5-innings)
Sarah Abramson allowed just 2-hits over 5-innings to improve to 7-0 on the year in the circle.
The OIT bats stayed hot as the Owls had 19-hits including 5 home runs (

Game two: Oregon Tech 8 Providence 2
The second game was a little closer, but the Owls still managed to put 8-runs on the board in each of the first five innings while holding UP to just 2-runs on 4-hits as
Mckenzie Staub picked up the win in the circle for Oregon Tech as she improves to 5-0 on the year.
Jantzi hit her Cascade Conference leading 6
th home run of the year that gave Tech a 2-0 lead in the first inning. The Owls added two more runs in the 2
nd, and two more runs in the 5
th on a Businger homer on the way to the 8-2 win.
Mckenzie Staub pitched seven strong innings with six strikeouts to improve to 5-0 on the year.
The two teams will wrap up the series Saturday with a doubleheader scheduled for 10:00 am Pacific.
