KLAMATH FALLS, Ore.— Oregon Tech (12-14, 7-5 CCC) swept the Sunday doubleheader over Eastern Oregon, to earn their first season sweep of the year. Tech scored 49 runs across the weekend, including a school record 12 home runs over the four games.

Game Three: Oregon Tech 7 Eastern Oregon 3
In Game 1, the offensive onslaught slowed down for the Owls and the game displayed stronger pitching.
In the top of the 2nd, Eastern Oregon (3-13, 3-9CCC) grabbed a two run lead off a single and an RBI double.
The Owls were shutout in the first three frames, but
Jesse Dunham hit a solo-HR to pull the Owls within 1 in the Bottom of the 4th.
EOU added 1 in the top of the 5th to go ahead 3-1, on their 2nd RBI single of the day.
In the bottom of the 5th however, Tech would get the bats rolling. Mitchel Swansom started the rally with a solo-HR, then the Owls added 2 more runs off of 2 EOU errors to grab a 4-3 lead.
OIT would extend the lead in the 6th on a
Micah Jio HR, then another run in the 7th and 8th to win 7-3.
Trask Telesmanich got the Win for the Owls throwing 6 innings, allowing 3 runs, on 6 hits, while walking 4, and striking out 4.
Swanson led the Owls at the plate with 2 hits.
Game Two: Oregon Tech 11 Eastern Oregon 2
Tech got on the front foot in the 2nd, off of
Dalton Daily (pictured)HR that put them up 1-0.
EOU tied it up on an RBI single in the 3rd.
Kellen Mendez gave the Owls the lead back in the 4th with a 2RBI single.
Kaleb Keelean added some insurance with an RBI single in the 5th.
Swanson and Moloney kept the bats rolling with 2 solo HRS in the 6th.
Then Swanson went yard for the 3rd time that weekend in the 7th, with a 2-Run HR.
The Owls went on to win 11-2 thanks to the long-ball and a great outing on the mound.
Jacob Miller got the start and win for Tech throwing 6 scoreless innings, while walking 3 and striking out 2.
Tech was led by Keelean at the plate who had 4 hits in 4 at-bats, Swanson added 3 hits with 3 RBIs.
Tech will travel to Corban next week to face off against the Warriors in a 4 game series.
