REDDING, Calif. – The Oregon Tech volleyball team completed a three game weekend sweep by downing Simpson University Sunday afternoon 3-0 (25-10, 25-14, 25-13) at the Grant Center to improve to 3-0 on the season.
"Great team effort this weekend," said head coach Ken Murczek. "Every player contributed and we took steps in the right direction. Our serving today was impressive. We always talk about using it as a weapon and the team did just that today. I am incredibly proud of the girls for their focus and confidence from behind the service line. We only had one error in 3 sets today. Unbelievable!"
Nicole Reyes had 12 kills along with 4 aces to lead the Owls while senior
Ireland Bennett added 6 kills.
Tech held a 31-18 edge in kills for the game.

Tech hit at .183% while holding the Red Hawks to a -.064%
For the weekend, Tech out-hit their opponents 128 – 97.
