ROCKLIN, Calif. – Great pitching and timely hitting led Oregon Tech (2-0) to season opening sweep of Arizona Christian University (3-7) 9-1 in game 1 and 3-0 in 8-innings in game 2.
"It was a nice start to the season getting two wins against a quality opponent," said head coach
Greg Stewart. "
Sarah Abramson and
Krista Ward pitched lights out today. We hit the ball well in game one and after hitting some balls hard right at them early in game two, we were able to find some holes in extra innings of game 2."
