VALLEJO, Calif. – Oregon Tech (7-3) held Cal Maritime (0-7) scoreless in the first quarter on the way to a 76-32 win over the Keelhaulers Saturday afternoon in the second game of the Maritime Keelhauler Crossover Classic.
OIT took a 12-0 lead after the first quarter, then outscored CMU 19-12 in the second stanza to take a 31-12 lead into the halftime break. The Owl defense was intense in the half, holding Cal Maritime to 4-of-24, shooting 16.7% including just one made field goal inside the three-point line in the half.
The Lady Owls then put the game away, out-scoring Cal Maritime 29-4 in the third period on the way to the 76-32 win.
Maddyson Tull led the Owls with 15 points with
Melissa Lee adding a double-double 10 points and 11 rebounds.
