ROCKLIN, Calif. - Oregon Tech (2-0) picked up their second blowout victory in as many days, routing the California Maritime Academy (0-2) 77-32 on Saturday evening. Tech jumped out to a big first quarter lead and never looked back en route to a successful weekend in Rocklin.
Â
"While we are certainly happy with a 45-point win, I am concerned about the number of turn overs," said head coach
Scott Meredith. Once again, our defense was awesome, and we held Cal Maritime to single digit scoring in three quarters. I was particularly impressed with the quality of play from our bench, who maintained a high level of play throughout. We now have time to watch film and assess where we're at heading into next Friday's game against Simpson."
