Hustlin’ Owls Down Mountaineers 2-0

LA GRANDE, Ore. – The record-breaking season for the Oregon Tech men's soccer team continued Friday night as the Owls scored a goal in each half on the way to a 2-0 Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) win over Eastern Oregon University. The win was a school record 12th of the season and 8th win in conference play which is also a school record.  
 
"A tough game against a hard working Eastern team," said head coach Casey Tate. "The men stuck together  and got the 3 points. Need to rebound for a very difficult College of Idaho team."

Oregon Tech (12-1, 8-1 CCC) scored the games first goal in the 8th minute as Brock Rideout scored off an assist from Anthony Santillan, it was Rideout's sixth goal of the season.
 
The teams would go the halftime break with the Owls leading 1-0. Tech dominated possession, with a 9-2 advantage in shots.
 
The second half was all OIT, as they expanded their shots advantage to 19-0 in the half, with a 9-0 edge in shots on frame.
 
Jake Warner #23 Pictured) gave Tech a 2-0 lead when he took a Keanu Srivongsana pass and scored in the 80th minute.
 
Tech will next travel to Caldwell, Idaho on Saturday for a game against College of Idaho at 3:00 PM Pacific.
