LA GRANDE, Ore. – The record-breaking season for the Oregon Tech men's soccer team continued Friday night as the Owls scored a goal in each half on the way to a 2-0 Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) win over Eastern Oregon University. The win was a school record 12
th of the season and 8
th win in conference play which is also a school record.
"A tough game against a hard working Eastern team," said head coach
Casey Tate. "The men stuck together and got the 3 points. Need to rebound for a very difficult College of Idaho team."
Oregon Tech (12-1, 8-1 CCC) scored the games first goal in the 8
th minute as
Brock Rideout scored off an assist from
Anthony Santillan, it was Rideout's sixth goal of the season.
The teams would go the halftime break with the Owls leading 1-0. Tech dominated possession, with a 9-2 advantage in shots.
The second half was all OIT, as they expanded their shots advantage to 19-0 in the half, with a 9-0 edge in shots on frame.

Tech will next travel to Caldwell, Idaho on Saturday for a game against College of Idaho at 3:00 PM Pacific.
