MEDFORD, Ore. - The Lady Owls of Oregon Tech improved to 5-0 in CCC play and 16-6 on the year with a doubleheader sweep 16-5 game one and 12-0 game two over the University of Providence Saturday afternoon at US Cellular Fields.
"Our pitchers set the tone early in both games as they were dominant today with several strikeouts," said Head Coach
Greg Stewart. "We called two good games, played well defensively, and continued to stay hot offensively."
Game 1 Oregon Tech 16 Providence 5
Ali Graham gave up just one hit over 4-innings with 8-strikouts to improve to 6-3 on the year in the circle while the OIT offense scored 16-runs on 11-hits.
Kiahna Brown and
Dre Sotelo led the Owls with 2-hts each while Graham and
Jacey Conklin flexed a little muscle with home runs. In the 5-inning mercy rule shortened game.
Olivia Warren provided the bulk of the Argos offense with a 5
th inning pinch hit grand slam home run.
Game 2 Oregon Tech 12 Providence 0
Sarah Abramson dominated in the circle for the Owls with a complete game 3-hit shutout as she struck out 10 to improve to 6-3 on the year.
At the plate the Owls scored 12-runs on 9-hits with Brown providing the pop, hitting a three-run homer in the 2

McKenna Armantrout and
Baylee Wyscaver led the hooter attack with 2-hits each.
The two teams will conclude the four game series Sunday in Medford, Ore. With a doubleheader scheduled to begin at 12:00 pm at US Cellular Field #8.
