REDDING, Calif. – No. 10 Oregon Tech (5-3) cruised past Concordia (Ore.) 9-1 Sunday in the first game of the day, then fell 1-0 in a nail biter to host Simpson as the Owls settled for a 3-1 weekend at the Simpson Tournament at Big League Dreams.
"We got two outstanding pitching performances today from Sarah and Ali," said head coach
Greg Stewart. "I was pleased with how we played defense all weekend and our offense competed against some good pitching. Unfortunately, our bats went cold in the second game today but we are going to have a very formidable offense once everyone gets going."
