EUGENE, Ore. – For the first time since 2010 the Oregon Tech women's soccer team won its third straight Cascade Conference game Saturday afternoon as the Lady Owls soared past Northwest Christian University 4-0 at Mike Kelly Field as the Owls improve to 3-1 in CCC play and 5-4 overall.

Oregon Tech scored all four goals in the first half as they dominated pace and play.

Yesterday's hero Cassidy Gosvener picked-up where she left off as she scored the game's first goal in the 6th minute as Brenna Bogle sent a nice through ball and Gosvener finished past the keeper for the 1-0 lead.

Emily Hillestad scored to make it 2-0 OIT in the 11th minute off an assist by Kylie Cowell.

Hillestad was at it again just 5 minutes later scoring her second, this time off a nice pass from Bogle that left Hillestad 10 yards out as she chipped it in for the goal.

Taylee Miyamura capped off the Owl scoring as she made it 4-0 Hooter in the 34th minute off an assist from Hillestad.

"To respond from yesterday's tremendous win at Corban with a 4-0 shutout of a 2016 CCC tournament team was incredibly impressive," said Head Coach Brandon Porter. "All credit to the ladies as they are getting more and more confident with each minute they get to compete with each other. It's been fantastic to work with them and watch them grow."

The Lady Owls will take that three game winning streak into a two-game home stand next Friday and Saturday as they host Warner Pacific and Eastern Oregon respectively at 12:00 PM on the OIT Soccer pitch.
