SPRINGFIELD, Ore.- The record setting season for the Oregon Tech women's soccer team came to an end Friday with a tough hard fought 1-0 loss to Northwest University in the Cascade Conference Quarterfinal at the Willamalane Complex.

Brandon Porter on his team. "You just couldn't ask for a tougher, more team oriented, and fun group of young women. They have made our jobs as coaches much more fun and at the same time more challenging. They have challenged us to be better coaches and to demand even more. They have learned from mistakes, grown, and became a team through the season. This is a group that we will remember forever and I truly am grateful to have coached this season."
Northwest scored the game winner in 84
th minute of play as Jubilee Zevenbergen received a pass on top of the 18, made a quick turn and shot the ball past Tech's Keeper. Madison Morrow was credited with an assist on the play.
For the game Northwest held a 14-6 advantage in shots and a 4-1 edge in shots on frame.
Oregon Tech's season ends with an overall record of 10-7.
