AT OREGON TECH: Lease is in her fifth season with the women's basketball program and fourth as head coach...led the Lady Owls to 3-straight NAIA National Tournament appearances (2024-26), advancing to the NAIA Tournament second-round in 2024, combining for a 69-25 overall record...reached the Cascade Conference Tournament semifinals in 2024, 2025 and 2026.
HONORS:Â Has coached six All-Cascade Conference selections (Maddyson Tull, Olivia Sprague, Gabbie Gascon, Tatum Schmerbach, Jozie Ramos, Alexis Elquist), the 2023 CCC Defensive Player of the Year (Melissa Lee), the 2024 CCC Freshman of the Year (Schmerbach), 2026 CCC Player of the Year (Schmerbach), a 2-time NAIA All-American (Sprague) and a third-team All-American (Schmerbach), with 18 student-athletes earning CCC All-Academic Team and 14Â named to the NAIA Scholar-Athlete Team.
PRIOR TO OIT: A decorated prep coach, recording 337 career victories in stops at Willamina High, Santiam High and Mazama High...led Santiam High to the 2009 2A state title and a runner-up finish in 2007, while leading Mazama High to the 2013 4A state championship...earned Skyline Conference Coach of the Year honors six times, while being named the OSAA 4A Coach of the Year in 2013.
PERSONAL: Previously worked in the administrative office at Mazama High...played basketball and softball at Linfield University...daughter Amber has followed in her footsteps and is head coach at Crater High in Central Point, winning the 2025 OSAA 5A state title, while daughter Maddy is an assistant soccer coach at OIT.
