Kelly Reece will enter her 5th season as an assistant coach with Oregon Tech. Reece is the outfield coach along with directing the strength and conditioning program for the Lady Owls.

Reece was born in Ionia, Michigan graduating from Ionia High School in 1997 where she competed in soccer, volleyball, track and field, and softball. Kelly was a two-time NJCAA All-American in softball at Grand Rapids Community College in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Reece continued her athletics and education at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, Colorado. In 2000 and 2001, Reece was honored as the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Player of the Year, First Team All-RMAC, First Team All-Region, and First Team All-American. Her highlights at Mesa included leading the nation at the NCAA division 2 level in RBI's with 73 (2000), 72 (2001), leading the nation in homeruns 21 (2001), gaining the RMAC stolen base record with 47 (2001), and a combined batting average of .495.

More recently, Reece was named RMAC Athlete of the Century at the RMAC's 100th conference celebration (2010) and was inducted into the Colorado Mesa University Hall of Fame (2012). Kelly met her wonderful husband, Justin, here in Klamath Falls and they are both employed with the United States Forest Service.
