AT OREGON TECH: Eighth season as an assistant coach with the softball program...has helped the Lady Owls to seven NAIA Tournament appearances and five trips to the NAIA Softball World Series.
PRIOR TO OIT: Taught high school math in both Illinois and Oregon for 36 years...spent 24 seasons as a prep softball coach between Cleveland and West Linn High Schools...also coached football, basketball and baseball...his ASA 18-U softball team one the Oregon state title in 2012.
PERSONAL: Originally from Kandakee, Ill....earned a BA from Eastern Illinois and a Master's of Education at the University of Illinois...he and wife Kelly live in Ridgefield, Wash...his daughter, Karly, is a former Lady Owl player and All-American...has two grandchildren - Wesley and M.J.
