AT OREGON TECH: Eighth season as a softball assistant coach, including the 2012 and 2013 seasons, rejoining the squad in 2021...helped team to four Cascade Conference Tournament titles, five NAIA Tournament and four NAIA Softball World Series appearances.
PRIOR TO OIT: Served as softball head coach at Henley High from 2014-19, leading the team to the 2017 4A state title and runner-up finishes in 2014, 2018 and 2019...was named MaxPreps Medium Schools National Coach of the Year in 2017...was an assistant baseball coach at Klamath Union High from 1997-2004 and was an assistant coach for the Boise Capitals and Klamath Falls Falcons American Legion programs from 1995-2004.
PERSONAL: Originally from Klamath Falls, earned an education degree (health/physical education) from Albertson College of Idaho in 1996...played baseball for three seasons, earning All-Cascade Conference, All-NAIA Region I and honorable mention NAIA All-America honors in 1996...started his college career at the University of Arizona, where he was a member of the 1992 Pac-10 championship team...he and wife Brenda (an OIT Athletic Hall of Fame softball player) have three children, son Nolan and daughters Kaila and Malia.
