Bill Reinhard is in his tenth season as an assistant coach for track & field at Oregon Tech. Bill oversees the fall weight training for the track teams, as-well-as, being the pole vault coach year round. During Bill’s time at Tech he has coached twelve of the twenty athletes on the pole vault Top 10 list for both genders, including school record holder Nishi Chase. In 2018 Bill had three vaulters in the top 12 at the national meet (Nishi Chase 12th and top freshman at the meet), (Hunter Drops 9th), and (Seth Gretz 6th and first Tech All-American in the vault in 14 years). At Tech, Bill has coached 2 2 Cascade Conference Champions, Nishi in 2018 and Seth Gretz in 2017 along with 10 All-Conference placers.
While at Tech, Reinhard served as an assistant coach for fourteen years at local high schools, Mazama and Klamath Union, where he coached the pole vault producing many OSAA All-State pole vaulters, Skyline District Champions, and All-District placers.
Bill graduated from Oregon Tech with a degree in Environmental Science. Bill and his wife Cheryl are proud parents of their son Justice (16).
