Biography

2017 Season: As a sophomore, Lutz played in 14 games while making 1 start for the Owls. His defensive play helped his team to a 5th place finish in the CCC, with an overall record of 8-8-1. He was named CCC Scholar Athlete in 2017.

2016 Season: Devin played in 5 games as a freshman, while tallying 2 goals on the season. 

Prior to Oregon Tech - 

Club Team: Eastside Timbers FC 

Notable Info: Devin is a tough defender that has primarily played outside back for both Sandy High School and his club team, Eastside Timbers FC. During his high school career, Lutz has been a 2x All-League player and has received his high school team award of “Best Defender” for three years running. With his club team he has been regular starting player in the backline and a two-time State Champion in Oregon.

Coach Munhall comments: “Devin is a strong outside back that is willing to run through a brick wall for his team. He has a good technical ability to possess the ball out of the back and will be a great up and coming defender for our program.”
Devin is the son of Fred and Christi Lutz and will be majoring in Engineering.
