2015 Season: In his junior season, Colton served as a team captain while playing and starting in all 17 games for the Owls. He scored 2 goals and had 3 assists, while being named CCC Honorable Mention at the end of the season. He was also voted by his teammates as the team's Most Valuable Player (MVP).

2014 Season: In his sophomore season, Colton transitioned from a flank player as a freshman to a center mid and found himself carrying a larger role for the Owls. His ability to move the ball helped create many dangerous attacks as he was a regular feature in 16 games. He ended the season tallying 1 goal and 3 assists, while garnering All-CCC Honorable Mention recognition and being elected a team captain by his peers for the 2015 season.

2013 Season: In his freshman season, Grytness quickly established himself as a starting player and featured in the starting lineup in 15 games, while appearing in all 18 contests on the season. He scored his debut goal, which happened to be the game winner in a 3-1 victory over The Evergreen State College on 9/21/13 and he also contributed 2 assists later that season.

Prior to Oregon Tech -
Club Team: Idaho Thunder FC

Notable Info: During his high school career, Colton was a two time team captain, and earning All-League, All-District, and All-State honors. In his junior season he was selected the Inland Empire League MVP. During the summer going into his senior season, Grytness had the opportunity to train with the Sounders FC Academy team where he picked up an injury that would hold him off the field in his senior season. Despite the setback and only playing three seasons, Colton still set the career goals and assist record at his school.
Grytness also had an illustrious career with the Idaho Thunder FC as a three year team captain, leading his team to three consecutive league titles, and in 2012 winning his region and being National Club Runner-up.

Coach Munhall comments: “Colton has captained some very high caliber club teams and proven that he is an asset as an attacking midfielder. He has been exposed to some of the best coaching in the NW region and we are excited to add a player with his experience to our roster."

Colton is the son of Rob and Becky Grytness, and plans to major in Emergency Medical Services Management at Oregon Tech.
