At Oregon Tech:
15-16 Started all 32 games. Averaged 16.4 points per game, 4.8 rebounds per game and 2.4 assists per game. Joel blocked 17 shots and recorded 38 steals. Shot 48% from the field.

Prior to Oregon Tech
Yellow Owl transfers to Tech after averaging 18.7 points and 6.3 rebounds per game as a sophomore at Yakima Valley Community College (Yakima, Wash.). Under the tutelage of YVCC head coach Ray Funk, Yellow Owl was a NWAACC first team East Region selection, while earning all-academic honors for the Yaks. Yellow Owls posted a 53.0% overall shooting percentage while connecting on 74-percent of his tries from the charity stripe. Joel is the son of Jeff Yellow Owl and Cynthia Dakota.
