As a true freshman, appeared in all 35 games, playing 11.5 minutes per game. Averaged 5.7 points per game, 4.0 rebounds per game, including 39.1% from the perimeter. Matt scored a career high 20 points on 9-12 shooting in key conference road win at Northwest Christian and dropped 14 points in the NAIA Quarterfinal win vs Indiana Wesleyan. Majoring in Civil Engineering.

Prior to Oregon Tech
Attended Mountain View High School in Bend, OR where he averaged 19.5 points per game and 6.6 rebounds per game. Shot 65% from the field. Named Intermountain League Player of the Year twice, and First Team All-State in his senior campaign. Will major in Civil Engineering.
