2019: Chris showed true leadership this year. After having an injury late in the summer that sidelined him for the month of August, He rallied and put forth an amazing effort for the team. With all of the returning upperclassmen coming off of injury and building up for the end of the season. Chris put the team first and trained at a high level challenging his teammates to come along. Often running out of gas at the end of the week and finishing mid-back on the team. His effort and courage payed dividends late in the season as Chris ran the fastest junior time and became the #4 Owl all time (25:06). His teammates followed to finish 3rd at conference and 15th at the national meet.
