KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. –
Kade Bracken shot a final round 1-under-par 71 to earn a Top-10 finish, as the Oregon Tech men placed fourth overall in the opening Cascade Conference event of the season, the OIT Fall Invite at Running Y Resort.
The Hustlin' Owls (303-279-300 – 882) dropped one spot in the final standings, as Bushnell (302-287-291 – 880) rallied over the final four holes to jump into third place. Both teams were well behind the front-runners, as British Columbia (272-283-276 – 831) set a new CCC scoring record at 33-under-par, four shots clear of Lewis-Clark State (282-279-274 – 835).
Bracken (74-71-71 – 216) ended the 54-hole event at even-par, finishing in a tie for eighth-place. Seven players ended the tournament with an under-par score, as UBC's Jake Houston (67-66-68 – 201) earned medalist honors at 15-under-par, with LC's Lucas Ortega (69-69-66 – 204) ending the tournament at 12-under-par.
Freshmen
Eastyn Ewell (76-70-72 – 218) and
Massimo Cereghino (74-71-76 – 221) had Top-20 efforts, Ewell taking 13th and Cereghino 17th.
Colin Field (77-70-75 – 222) finished 22nd and
Silas Guzlas (76-68-79 – 223) was 24th.

Cohen Wood (80-81-77 – 238),
Kanon Kintner (80-78-80 – 238) and
Logan Strop (74-78-87 – 239).
