PRESCOTT, Ariz. – Facing the No. 3-ranked team in the NAIA, Oregon Tech ran into a pair of All-Americans, each scoring two goals, as Embry-Riddle topped the Lady Owls, 4-0.
The Eagles (3-0) got a brace from both Jamie Brandon and Tessa Updegraff, finishing the evening with a 26-4 edge in total shots and an 8-2 edge in corner kicks.
Tech (1-1) had an opportunity in the opening minute, earning a corner kick – but were unable to generate a quality chance.
Brandon got ERAU on the board in the eighth minute, with Updegraff scoring just before the break to give the hosts a 2-goal advantage. Brandon put the game out of reach in the 57th minute with a strike from distance, before Updegraff tallied an unassisted goal in the 75th.
