PORTLAND, Ore. – Three Top-10 finishes were the key for Oregon Tech, as the Lady Owls took second-place in the Warner Pacific Invitational at Glendoveer Golf Club.
The No. 22-ranked Lady Owls (320-317 – 637) improved their opening round score by three strokes, finishing 11 shots clear of No. 18-ranked Lewis Clark State (329-319 – 648). Both team were chasing No. 4-ranked British Columbia (309-296 – 605).
The Lady Owls were led by
Sydney Dick (78-78 – 156) on a windy morning, as the sophomore climbed the leaderboard to place fifth – four shots behind medalist Keira Hou (78-74 – 152) of UBC.
Freshman
Alyssa Kauleinamoku (76-81 – 157) took seventh for Tech, with
Madison Dick (83-77 – 160) shooting a final round 4-over-par 77 to take tenth.
Madie Hepner (83-81 – 164),
Baylee Hodgman (84-84 – 168) and
Brittney Barrington (89-81 – 170) rounded out the OIT competitors.
