CORVALLIS, Ore. - Oregon Tech forward Alexis Elquist was named Cascade Conference Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week, announced by the league office.

The senior, from Elko, Nev., recorded back-to-back double-doubles in wins over Corban and Bushnell - including a career-high 16-rebound performance against Corban.

Elquist combined to record 19 defensive rebounds in the two games - the 9.5 defensive rebounds per game tops for the week in the CCC, while adding a combined five blocked shots and a steal.

The Lady Owls hit the road for 3-straight games - beginning Friday night at Lewis-Clark State with tip-off set for 5 p.m.
