OPPONENT PREVIEW – LEWIS-CLARK STATE: The road swing starts Friday with a Top-25 match-up vs. No. 24-ranked Lewis-Clark State – as Tech searches for their first-ever win in Lewiston. The Warriors (20-4, 14-4 CCC) have won 6-in-a-row – holding each of the opponents to 60 points or less – as LC limits foes to 54 points and a 35% shooting average on the year. Ellie Sander (14.0 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 74 steals) heads the Warriors attack, with forward Darrian Herring (10.6 ppg, 6.4 rpg, 68 blocks) and guards Sitara Byrd (10.2 ppg, 5.8 rpg) and Payton Hymas (9.2 ppg, 3.2 apg) pacing an offense averaging 75 points a night. Â
OPPONENT PREVIEW – WALLA WALLA: Late Saturday (7 p.m.), the Lady Owls put a perfect 22-0 all-time record on the line vs. Walla Walla, facing a Wolves (7-17, 4-14) team still in the postseason hunt. WWU is riding a 3-game home win streak (all wins by 10-or-more points) and have a 6-6 record on their own floor – despite an offense that averages just 55 points and game and converts 35% of their field goal chances. Chariah Daniels (12.8 ppg, 10.8 rpg) leads the CCC in rebounding, with the guard line of Jaylo Bello (12.3 ppg, 2.9 rpg), Natalee Trevino (11.3 ppg, 3.6 rpg) and Mireyah Lopez (7.1 ppg, 3.3 apg) each posting big games during the league season. OIT won the first meeting, 81-44, holding the Wolves to 24.6% shooting.
Â

Â
RAMOS KEY INSIDE: Jozie Ramos continued her strong play, extending a streak of games with 8-or-more points to 13 – including 5-straight double-digit scoring efforts. The sophomore set a new career-high with five blocks in the Corban win.
Â
ELQUIST HONORED FOR BIG WEEKEND: A big weekend at the defensive end of the floor netted
Alexis Elquist CCC Defensive Player of the Week honors, as the senior combined for 19 defensive rebounds and five blocks in the two wins. Elquist logged double-doubles in both games – scoring 10 points with a career-high 16 rebounds vs. Corban, followed by 13 points and 10 boards vs. Bushnell – combining to make 10-of-17 field goals and has converted 21-of-31 field goals over her last six games. In the process, Elquist surpassed both the 500-point and 500-rebound mark for her OIT career.

The freshman tied her top scoring mark with 14 points and six rebounds in Friday's victory, while upping the numbers to 15 points, eight rebounds and five assists on Saturday afternoon. Since taking over the starting role, Anderson is averaging 12 points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals per game.
