GAME DAY INFORMATION: All OIT men's basketball games will be carried live on 92.5 KLAD-FM in the Klamath Basin and streamed online at MyBasin.com, with Mike Safford on the call – beginning 30-minutes prior to the scheduled tip off. Both games in California will be streamed on the GSAC Sports Network, while Live Stats will be available via OIT's SIDEARM Sports Portal.
 
OPPONENT PREVIEW – THE MASTER'S: The trip opens with a rematch against The Master's, as Tech claimed a 94-90 overtime win over the Mustangs (4-3) on Nov. 7 in Arizona. TMU is 4-1 in games played in their home state, coming off a 70-59 win over Corban – though the California club is averaging 81 points a game, despite converting just 41% of their field goal chances and 29% of their 3-point attempts. Quincy Phillips (15.0 ppg, 5.7 rpg) had 28 points in the loss against OIT, with Nate Boakye (15.0 ppg, 6.6 rpg) scoring 19. Parker Tuttle (16.0 ppg, 3.3 rpg) is TMU's leading scorer, while Avery Johnson (15.0 ppg, 4.0 rpg) is an x-factor after missing the first meeting due to injury. It is the fifth meeting between the teams, with the Owls holding a 4-0 series edge.
 
OPPONENT PREVIEW – HOPE INTERNATIONAL: The non-conference schedule ends with a true road game at Hope International, the second meeting between the schools in 11 days. The Royals (4-1) saw a 4-game win streak snapped in Game 2 of the Lithia Classic, as Southern Oregon earned a 23-point victory. HIU is averaging 82 points a game, converting 51% of their field goal chances, while holding opponents to a 40% shooting clip. Forward Nick Hopkins (16.6 ppg, 4.6 rpg) scored 26 points in the win over OIT, Addy G'Bye (12.8 ppg, 3.2 rpg) is making 43% of his 3-point chances, with Aman Haynes (11.2 ppg, 5.0 rpg) and C.J. Fisher (9.8 ppg, 4.8 rpg) each key offensive threats. It is the third meeting between the clubs, with the series tied, 1-1.
 
IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA: Tech heads to Southern California for the first time in 22 years and the sixth all-time trip to the region. The Owls trekked to San Diego in 2003, going 2-1 in a tournament at Point Loma Nazarene (including wins over PLNU and Cal Baptist), making a return trip in 1996 (with wins over the host school and UC Riverside). OIT played in two tournaments at Azusa Pacific in 1984 and 2001, along with a 1982 tournament at Cal State-Bakersfield. Overall, the Owls are a combined 8-5 in games played in the region.
 
HUSTLIN' OWLS BACK IN THE TOP-25: A quality start to the season, including two Top-25 wins, helped the Hustlin' Owls jump into the Top-25, as the NAIA released its first national rankings of the 2025-26 season on Nov 12. Tech climbed to No. 19 in the poll – marking the 11th-straight season (and 30-of-31 seasons) that the Owls have earned a Top-25 ranking. OIT will play their fifth Top-25 team on Tuesday, earning a rematch with No. 23 Hope International. Two other Cascade Conference teams are in the poll – No. 16 College of Idaho and LC State, who is receiving votes.
 
HOMESTAND RECAP: The Hustlin' Owls played three games in six games at home – splitting games during the Lithia Classic, before rolling to a win over Simpson. Friday, Hope International rode an 8-for-12 shooting night from 3-point range, building a 14-point lead, before Tech battled to take a 79-77 edge with 1:31 left on a Dakota Reber 3-point play. Unfortunately, HIU outscored the Owls, 8-0, the rest of the way for a win. One night later, OIT clamped down defensively in the second half – claiming an 87-68 win over Our Lady of the Lake – before connecting on a season-high 11 3-pointers in a Wednesday 100-85 win over Simpson.
 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS: In the back-to-back wins over OLLU and Simpson, Tech converted over 50% of their field goals (53% vs. OLLU, 54% vs. Simpson), with the Owls making 70% or better of their free throws in each of the last five games. In the two wins, OIT had a combined plus-29 rebound margin, while HIU had a three-rebound edge in Friday's loss. During the homestand, the three opponents combined to make 26-of-50 3-point attempts.
 
THE CENTURY MARK: The Hustlin' Owls scored 100 points in Wednesday's win over Simpson – the 13th-straight year Tech has scored 100-or-more points in a game and the 31st-straight win when scoring 100-or-more points. OIT has scored 100 points 201 times, first reaching the mark in a 110-62 victory over Eastern Oregon in 1957 and are 191-10 all-time when reaching triple digits.
 
COOPER EARNS CCC HONORS: Forward Jackson Cooper was honored Monday as Cascade Conference Player of the Week after leading Tech during the Lithia Classic – and continued his strong play Wednesday vs. Simpson. The junior scored a career-high 29 points against Hope International, adding a career-high nine assists vs. OLLU – finishing the 3-game homestand making 71% (24-of-34) of his field goal attempts – averaging 17.6 points, 5.7 rebounds and 6.6 assists a game.
 
REBER CATCHES FIRE: It was a stellar homestand for Dakota Reber, as the senior recorded 15-or-more points in each of the games. Reber made 20-of-38 field goals over the 3-game stretch, knocking down 6-of-15 3-pointers – averaging 17 points and five rebounds for the week – including a season-high 20 points in the win over Simpson.
 
FRESHMAN PHENOM: The outstanding start to the career of Gylan Payne continued, as the freshman made an impact during the homestand at both ends of the floor. Payne scored a career-high 20 points in the win over OLLU and converted 17-of-32 field goals during the three games. Defensively, the first-year Hustlin' Owl had four blocked shots in the win vs. OLLU and logged 3-or-more steals in each of the games.
 
SUCHER FROM 3: Tech received a big boost during the homestand from 2-guard Jared Sucher, connecting on 7-of-12 3-point attempts. For the year, the sophomore leads the club, converting 46% of his 3-point chances – taking a 14.5 scoring average to California.
 
BIG NIGHTS: Senior Grant Tull had a huge performance in the win over Our Lady of the Lake, scoring a career-high 14 points – his second career double-figure scoring game. Reserve point-guard Sean Chris Tresvant tallied six points in each of the wins – two points shy of his career-high set last season vs. Warner Pacific. Freshmen Owen Nathan and Mason Bierbrauer had quality nights vs. Simpson – Nathan posting season-bests with seven points and four assists, while Bierbrauer posted five points and three rebounds.
 
LEAGUE LEADERS: Jackson Cooper currently leads the CCC in assists per game (5.7), ranking No. 7 in rebounds per game (6.5) and scoring average (15.5). Gylan Payne is No. 4 in steals per game (2.0) and rebounds per game (7.3), ranking No. 6 in blocks per game (1.2), while both Jared Sucher and Dakota Reber are No. 10 in scoring average (14.5).
 
PARNELL CLOSES IN ON 200: With the win Wednesday against Simpson, head coach Justin Parnell picked up his 197th career win – just three victories away from 200 in his 10-year tenure at OIT. Parnell ranks second in all-time victories behind Danny Miles, who had 1,040 wins in 45 years at Tech – ranking No. 2 all-time in NAIA history.
 
AROUND THE CONFERENCE: Both Eastern Oregon and LC State continued strong starts, sweeping games in Lewiston against Dickinson State and Embry Riddle, while Northwest went on the road and earned a quality victory at Providence. Corban headed to California and lost back-to-back games to The Master's and Life Pacific, while Walla Walla fell at Willamette. This weekend, LC heads to College of Idaho as the two teams meet Northern New Mexico and Pacific Union, Corban and Bushnell head to Redding for games against Cal Maritime and Simpson, with Southern Oregon joining Tech at the Royals Thanksgiving Classic.
 
HOME COURT ADVANTAGE: Since OIT moved to their current campus in 1964, the Hustlin' Owls have had a decisive home floor advantage inside the Athletic Center – winning over 81-percent of their home games. Over the last 61 seasons Tech has played on what is now known as Danny Miles Court, the Owls hold a 801-183 overall record in the building – including an 114-23 mark under current head coach Justin Parnell – surpassing the 800 home victory mark vs. OLLU. OIT has recorded a winning record in 57-of-59 seasons (going 5-7 in 1965-66 and 1-8 in 1970-71), including undefeated records four times (1986-87, 2008-09, 2009-10, 2010-11). The Owls are 3-1 at home this season, looking to extend a 54-year streak of winning seasons on their home floor – the longest streak in NAIA history.
 
RECORD BOOK: Two Hustlin' Owls have cracked the Top-75 in the OIT career record book, as Jackson Cooper ranks No. 61 in blocks (18), No. 73 in free throw attempts (186) and No. 75 in rebounds (327), while sitting just outside the mark in free throws made (116). Dakota Reber is No. 64 in blocks (17) and just outside the list in 3-pointers made (30) and attempted (84).
 
OVER 1,000-STRAIGHT GAMES WITH A 3-POINTER: The 3-point shot has been key to the Hustlin' Owls success over the years, with Tech extending their string of games with a made 3-pointer to 1,049. OIT last failed to make a 3-pointer on Dec. 4, 1992, at Humboldt State, going 0-for-7 from outside the arch. During the current streak, the Owls made one 3-pointer in a game on five occasions. Duke (1,269) and UNLV (1,265) hold the current 3-point streak record, just ahead of CCC rivals Corban (1,230) and College of Idaho (1,206), along with East Tennessee State (1,194).
 
NEXT WEEK: The Owls will have Thanksgiving Weekend off in preparation for the opening of Cascade Conference play, hosting Evergreen State (Dec. 5) and Northwest (Dec. 6).
