CALDWELL, Idaho –
Madison Dick sits in a tie for second-place, topping the Oregon Tech leaderboard heading into tomorrow's second and final round of the College of Idaho Invitational at TimberStone Golf Course.
The sophomore helped the Lady Owls (311) rally late in the round to surge past host C of I (314) – claiming the No. 2 spot in the overall standings. Defending Cascade Conference champ, British Columbia (299), is the leader after 18 holes.
Dick shot an opening round 1-over-par 73, recording four birdies and five bogeys on the par-72 track, tied with UBC's Grace Yao (73) – as the duo sit three shots back of leader, Reece Garey (70) of C of I.
Tech has three golfers currently in the Top-20 – as
Madie Hepner (77) is seventh,
Baylee Hodgman (78) is tied for 11th and
Sydney Dick (83) is 20th.
The final round is set for Tuesday, with an 8:30 a.m. (MDT) shotgun start.
