KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Walla Walla used a dominating offensive attack to complete a season sweep of Oregon Tech, topping the Lady Owls 25-15, 25-19, 25-10 at Danny Miles Court.
The Wolves (8-7, 6-6 CCC) finished the night with a 45-17 edge in kills – as Paula Flores posted 17 kills and Sahara Browning added 15 – helping the visitors to the victory.
WWU closed Set 1 on a 20-5 run, behind seven kills from Browning, adding a 9-2 run to take a 20-15 lead in Set 2. Flores posted eight kills in the Set 3 win, as the Wolves scored the final nine points of the match.
Willow Jacobson led OIT (9-10, 3-9) with five kills and six blocks, but the Lady Owls were hampered by 20 attack errors.
Tech continues their 4-match homestand next week – hosting Southern Oregon on Tuesday and Warner Pacific on Friday.
