PORTLAND, Ore. - Oregon Tech evened their mark on a 5-match conference road trip with a 25-16, 25-16, 25-19 win at Multnomah.
Molly Grace led the way with 20 kills and a .462 attack percentage, as the Lady Owls (11-8, 4-7 CCC) remained unbeaten all-time against the Lions.
All three sets were tight, but Tech utilized big runs to pull away. The Owls scored 7-straight points in the opening frame to break a 10-10 tie, turned an 11-11 score in Set 2 into a 21-13 lead, while scoring the final four points of the match to secure the win.
Grace added nine digs in the win, with
Tiana Barrett posting eight kills without a hitting error.
Lucy Boyd logged a double-double with five kills, 37 assists and 12 digs, with
Kaley Whalen leading all players with 22 digs.
OIT closes out the first leg of their road trip tomorrow at Warner Pacific.
