Lady Owls Record Five Top-10's on Day 1 of CCC Meet

LA GRANDE, Ore. – Five Top-10 finishes highlighted competition for the Oregon Tech women's track team on Day 1 of the Cascade Conference Championships at Banner Bank Track.
Ally Odell recorded three Top-10 finishes, with those marks, coupled with her fifth-place finish last month at the Combined Events Meet, has secured 5.5 team points for the Lady Owls.
Odell finished in a tie for seventh in the high jump (1.56 meters), taking ninth in the shot put (10.61 meters / 34 feet, 9.25 inches) and tenth in the 100-meter hurdles (15.70).
Katie Mull placed ninth overall in the hammer throw (43.79 meters / 143 feet, 1 inch), with
Brittan Bratscher taking tenth in the long jump (5.19 meters / 17 feet, 0.5 inches).
Bratscher also placed 13th in the high jump (1.50 meters / 4 feet, 11 inches),
Lily Everson was 13th in the 400-meters (1:01.41), Emily Bitner took 20th in the hammer throw (33.50 meters / 109 feet, 11 inches) and
Ciena Gregory placed 22th in the hammer throw (32.81 meters / 107 feet, 7 inches)
Day 2 of the meet starts tomorrow at 11 a.m.
