CORVALLIS, Ore. - A big weekend in the Bay Area helped Oregon Tech's
Olivia Sprague earn Rize Laboratory-Cascade Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week honors, announced today by the league office.
The junior, from Clatskanie, averaged over 20 points per games in the Lady Owls wins over Menlo College and Cal Maritime, as Tech improved to 5-0 on the season.
Sprague recorded her third-consecutive game with 20-or-more points in the win at Menlo - a 2023 NAIA Tournament team - scoring 25 points, adding seven rebounds and seven assists. The guard followed it up with 16 points, six steals and five rebounds in Saturday's win at CMA - finishing the trip 8-of-16 from 3-point range.
The Lady Owls return home a week from Friday, opening CCC play against Eastern Oregon for Military Appreciation Night. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m. - live on 104.3/960 Sports and the Owls Sports Network.
