ASHLAND, Ore. - Oregon Tech closed out competition at the Cascade Conference Men's Track and Field Championships, presented by U.S. Bank, with four athletes competing at Raider Stadium.

Distance runners Jonas Hartline and Nick McMillen raced in a highly-competitive 5,000-meter event, with Hartline placing eighth overall with a time of 15:22.45, one spot ahead of McMillen (15:27.06) in the field of 21.

In the 100-meters, Owl teammates Mark Hodge and Patrick Giraudo were right on their seasonal bests - Hodge finishing 18th in a time of 11.27 seconds, with Giraudo clocking a time of 11.34 seconds.

Eastern Oregon claimed the team title with 190 points, just ahead of College of Idaho's 178. OIT finished the meet with 14 team points, placing ninth.

A select group of OIT athletes will next compete at the NAIA Outdoor National Championships in Gulf Shores, Ala., May 24-27.
